I'm still here

Well I haven't really updated for a little bit so I guess I will. Yesterday was the Dalhousie Open House where Aniket, Jeff and myself took on 38 other schools in a head to head rumble of random trivia knowledge. With our outstanding score of 23/30, approximately 77% we were able to move onto the quatre finals kicking 30 other teams collective asses. The preliminaries weren't too bad, the first test appeared to be much easier than the second but in Round 1 we had a score of 73% which wasn't the top 4. In round 2 we were able to get one point more for a 77%, the round 2 test was much harder and most teams score went down atleast 2 to 3 points while ours went up one. Then we moved onto the quatrefinals, which was fun to say the least. We were able to watch Halifax Grammar get beaten by so Dr. J Gills something or other school. It was amusing and kinda a upset. Our school was pitted against the Kennebacansis (spelling is bad on that one) school from New Brunswick. This team was national champions. Obviously our amatuer team didn't stand much chance but hey we didn't do terrible. When leaving Jeff was talking to one of the opposing people and they were like "see you at nationals" and we were like uhhh this is a one time thing. They NB guy was shocked, guess first timer teams don't make the guatrefinals often. Anywho then when we lost we pretty much wandered around Halifax with our 150 dollars worth of books, but can only be used if we go to Dalhousie.

Alright enough with that. Today I had a work inservice, which sucked we did nothing for like an hour, atleast I get paid for it. Tomorrow curling starts, technically it's a clinic but whatever, it's almost all day. Also I've gotta finish off the agenda for the SAC meeting this wednesday then I have to prepare my 5 minute speech for wednesday which is about school leadership and bullshit like that, woot. The actual conference theme is the OC, which I know nothing about. We are dressing up, and I was assinged the character Seth and I have to dress like him. So I just asked Jane to like help me find a good shirt since she's an OCholic.

I also have to get started on my english project, we decided to change our idea into a stop motion animations on the film, our actual editing I guess will be done by Andrew since he must know what he's doing. Anywho I'm done for now, have a nice day.
